3 SERIES RIM

For a super light, quick and agile wheel, the 3 Series rim is an excellent starting point. Not only is it light, it is aerodynamic too. With its 35mm profile it maintains many of the aerodynamic attributes of the 5 Series. Arguably the most versatile rim from Nine Gs, the 3 Series inherited many of the traits of the 5 Series, with the lighter weight and better stability in high crosswinds and descents. The 3 Series is the heart of a wheel that will excel at everything - climbing, descending, sprinting, criteriums, road races, you name it.

The tubular version - the T3 - utilizes Nine Gs HM Braking Technology, which creates an optimized braking surface that yields characteristics similar to a highend machined aluminum rim - smooth, consistent and powerful - making it one of the best performers in this category - wet or dry. Although light and "high performance," its construction is such that it can still be used to build an everyday wheel or a mainstay race wheel.

The carbon-aluminum C3-A uses an aluminum braking surface and clincher configuration. This creates a very user-friendly rim that is still light, yet very convenient for everyday use, when tubulars are not as practical.
